An access reader is used to identify users who wish to access a system protected by an access controller. It transmits the credential information, with the controller deciding how to act.
This reader allows identification through cards or key fobs with MF technology at 13.56 MHz and MF DESFire at 13.56 MHz, QR code reading, as well as a keypad for numeric codes and fingerprint biometrics.
The connection to the controllers is made via Wiegand or RS485. These protocols allow for a secure connection in outdoor installations with an IP65 rating.
