An access reader is used to identify users who wish to access a system protected by an access controller. It transmits the credential information, with the controller determining how to act.
This reader allows identification through cards or key fobs with MF technology at 13.56 MHz and MF DESFire at 13.56 MHz, as well as a keypad for numeric codes and fingerprint biometrics.
The connection to the controllers is made via Wiegand or RS485. These protocols enable a secure connection for outdoor installation with an IP65 rating.
