An access reader is used to identify users who wish to access a system protected by an access controller. It transmits the credential information, with the controller deciding how to act.
This reader allows identification through RFID EM 125 kHz cards or key fobs, as well as a keypad for numeric codes.
The connection to the controllers is made via Wiegand or RS485. These protocols enable a secure connection for outdoor installations with an IP65 rating.
