An access reader is used to identify users who wish to access a system protected by an access controller. It transmits the credential information, with the controller deciding how to act.
This reader allows identification through cards or key fobs using RFID EM technology at 125 kHz and MF at 13.56 MHz, as well as a keypad for numeric codes.
The connection to the controllers is made via Wiegand or RS485. These protocols enable a secure connection for outdoor installation with an IP66 rating.
