The IP connection integrates the image into a surveillance network for use with a recorder supporting its video formats. The fixed lens defines scene framing; this variant’s focal length must suit the area that needs to be observed. The microSD slot supports local storage with the stated card type and capacity limit; a card is not presumed to be supplied. PoE combines power and data on the network link when the supplying equipment meets the supported standard.
