An autonomous access control device consists of the combination of a controller and a reader in a single unit: it is capable of identifying users, making the decision on whether they have permission to access the facility, and operating the electronic lock through its relay.
This device allows identification through MF technology cards or key fobs at 13.56 MHz, as well as a keypad for numeric codes and fingerprint biometrics.
Its exterior rating of IP65 allows for installation outdoors. Additionally, its vandal-resistant rating of IK08 enables it to withstand more challenging environments.
User configuration, schedules, and access groups, as well as special functions, relay opening times, or reader reading times, are managed through the iVMS-4200 software.
