An autonomous access control device consists of the combination of a controller and a reader in a single unit: it is capable of identifying users, making the decision of whether they have permission to access the facility, and operating the electronic lock through its relay. Hybrid terminals combine access control and attendance control, also being able to perform time tracking of employees at the moment of identification.
This device allows identification through MF technology cards or key fobs at 13.56 MHz and MF DESFire at 13.56 MHz, QR code reading, as well as a keypad for numeric codes and biometrics with facial recognition.
Its 4.3" touchscreen facilitates the operation and configuration of the device locally, both for autonomous use without software and for setting parameters required to connect to the software, such as network configuration.
Configurable advanced functions: 12 VDC output (allows direct powering of the electronic lock without the need for an additional power source as the device is powered by standard PoE) and function as a video intercom.
Its IP65 exterior rating allows it to be installed outdoors.
User configuration, schedules, and access groups, as well as special functions, relay opening times, or reader reading times are managed from the iVMS-4200 software.
