An autonomous access control device consists of the combination of a controller and a reader in a single unit: it is capable of identifying users, making the decision on whether they have permission to access the facility, and operating the electronic lock through its relay. Hybrid terminals combine access control and attendance control, also being able to perform time tracking of employees at the moment they are identified.

This device allows identification through RFID EM 125 kHz cards or key fobs, as well as a keypad for numeric codes and biometrics with fingerprint and facial recognition.

Its 2.4" screen facilitates the operation and configuration of the device locally, both for autonomous use without software and for establishing parameters required to connect to the software, such as network configuration.

User configuration, schedules, and access groups, as well as special functions, relay opening times, or reader reading times, are managed through the iVMS-4200 software.
