The video intercom panel is the element that is installed on the exterior of the premises, also known as the outdoor unit, and allows visitors to make calls to the building staff.
These devices also have the capability to open the door through their relay outputs. This model features 2 relay outputs to manage up to 2 doors simultaneously. Additionally, it includes integrated access control, allowing identification through MF technology cards or key fobs at 13.56 MHz, as well as a keypad for numeric codes.
The 2-wire devices communicate and are powered using conventional copper cables (referred to as wires) and distributors, enabling the reuse of existing conventional installations that already have this type of wiring.
Its physical numeric keypad allows users to call easily, as well as enter PIN codes for access.
With an IP65 outdoor rating, it can be installed outdoors. Furthermore, its IK08 vandal-resistant rating allows it to withstand more challenging environments.
With the Hik-Connect mobile application for the end user, calls can be received, doors can be opened, or the camera feed from the panel can be viewed live, all from any location.
