An autonomous access control device consists of the combination of a controller and a reader in a single unit: it is capable of identifying users, making the decision of whether they have permission to access the facility, and operating the electronic lock through its relay. Hybrid terminals combine access control and attendance control, also being able to perform time tracking of employees at the moment they are identified.

This device allows identification through MF technology cards or key fobs at 13.56 MHz, as well as a keypad for numeric codes and fingerprint biometrics.

Its 2.4" screen facilitates the operation and configuration of the device locally, both for autonomous use without software and for setting parameters required to connect to the software, such as network configuration.

User, schedule, and access group configurations, as well as special functions, relay opening times, or reader reading times, are managed from the iVMS-4200 software.
